Eye Mutations

Name: Gekigan
Classification: Multi-Stage Dojutsu
Type: Mutation (Activation Price collected once, Duration Price collected each post total)

Description: This Dojutsu turns the users eyes from whatever color it was originally to a grey-blue and gives them different techniques and abilities based on the level of mastery they have unlocked.

  • Activation - In this stage their eyes change into the grey-blue form. The user gains thermal vision allowing them to see heat signatures in addition to normal eyesight which is extremely useful in tracking hidden targets. This is obtained from birth.
  • First Stage - In this stage their eyes gain four swirl like patters around their pupil and they are given the ability of Premonition. This ability allows them to view into the future and react accordingly to it. The max posts the user can view is 1 post (total) ahead and the events will then play in reality with the user being able to react accordingly. The amount of times this can be used is Once at D-rank, Twice at C-rank, thrice at B-rank, four times at A-rank and 5 times at S-rank per topic. During this effect it can fill the requirements for both a Time-Slowing Dojutsu & Muscle Tension being used simultaneously. This can only be obtained by the user sustaining heavy injuries during a battle at one point in their lives.
  • Second Stage - This is the final stage of the eye which allows the user to detect life. Its unique sight pattern is extremely useful as as long as what they are searching for is alive they will be able to see it and it will be indicated by a gold outline. In addition this stage strengthens the Stage One's ability to be able to use its abilities much more potently; 2x At D-rank, 3x at C-rank, 4x at B-rank, 5x at A-rank and finally extending their premonition ability to the number of posts (total) in between the user's first post using this ability and their next post (an entire turn). Finally they gain a much stronger Premonition ability allowing them to make predictions of an opponents death which causes the eyes to lose their eyesight permanently upon use. The limit of this technique is that the death can only occur at least 5 topics later (Not including training and ooc topics). This ability can only be used once in the users lifetime. This can only be obtained by the user being beaten to near death at one point in their lives.

Description: This Dojutsu turns the users eyes from whatever color it was originally to a brown color and gives them different techniques and abilities based on the level of mastery they have unlocked.

  • Activation - In this stage their eyes change into the beige form. The user gains X-ray vision allowing them to see through objects in addition to normal eyesight which has a variety of uses in the practical field as they can also focus the X-ray ability allowing them to view through a wall but still see what is within with normal eyesight. This is obtained at genin rank and remains permanently activated henceforth.
  • Stage One - In this stage their eyes gain three black rings with three bumps connecting the first ring to the second one, in addition each of the rings has a three bars which extend from the first ring past the second ring and all the way to the third ring which forms an outline around the edge of the iris. One of these bars is split down the middle separating it into two. This eye gives the user telescopic sight which extends to about 3600 feet they can "zoom" in or out as required which combined with their X-ray abilities make them coveted for recon due to being able to track fleeing opponents out of topics via just sight. This is obtained upon the user being faced with a hopeless situation or in a situation that they feel they can not win.
  • Stage Two - This eye strengthens the abilities of the eye not only enhancing there X-ray vision allowing them to see through even extremely dense materials like lead but also enhancing there telescopic vision allowing them to see a distance of 7200 feet which is roughly past 2 Kilometers with perfect vision. Their vision is so sharp that they can easily distinguish colors, objects and light as if said target was in the normal realm of vision. This grants the ability to scope out topics within the same location as the user is as long as they concentrate and have a clear line of sight. This is obtained upon gaining the stage one and reaching Chunin rank.
  • Stage Three -  This eye actually grants the user full 360 vision with their eyes remaining frontal as the oval shapes bumps in the eye are actually secondary pupils which unlike the original pupil view inward while ignoring the inside of the users head cavity in order to see behind them. The secondary ability that this eye gives is further strengthening the telescopic view however this time they can see up to 14,400 ft/2.7 Miles or over 4 Km in distance. Now the user as long as they have a clear line of sight and are situated in a high location, can scope out targets within the same Area as the user even in different topics. This makes this dojutsu the most feared in terms of recon. This is gained by killing an opponent that possesses a dojutsu eye.


Name: Blindness
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves nonfunctional resulting in the user being completely and utterly blind. This can be resolved by transplanting other eyes as replacements however the users original eyes are unusable.

Name: Color Blindness
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves unable to categorize light into different spectrums causing them to visualize everything in varying intensities of gray with black being used to depict total absence of light and white being used to depict extreme amounts of light. Other than that shares everything with the normal eye.

Name: Genjutsu Sense
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves able to notice when they are trapped in 1-rank under their own and below ocular genjutsu techniques while they are able to naturally break equal rank ocular genjutsu techniques cast on them without the use of Kai.

Name: Normal Eye
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves unable to gain additional dojutsu as well as become immune to dojutsu mutations. Children of parents which have this have a lowered change of obtaining eye based mutations.

Name: Night Vision
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves fully functional in areas with a low concentration or absence of light. They perceive images in black and white and are sensitive to movement at night to give them a full visual representation of things around them. They are extremely sensitive to normal light conditions and high concentrations of light can permanently blind them.

Name: Heat Vision
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves only receptive to heat emissions broadcasting such as visual patterns in 7 colors & 2 tones; white,red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo, purple and black in varying intensities. Black being the absence of heat or objects/areas with extreme cold, Purple being presence of high ultra-violet emissions, indigo is a lower intensity of ultra-violet emissions. Blue is a lower concentration of heat in the environment. Green is the temperature of the environment within it's normal range, yellow is a higher concentration of heat in the environment, orange being an concentration of heat within animals or a low intensity of infa-red emission, red being an high heat emission of heat within animals or a high intensity of infa-red emission. White being the abundance of heat or objects/areas with extreme heat emissions.

Name: Loss of Vision
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves to gradually deteriorate at a faster pace than usual with age. From birth they are suffer vision deterioration requiring them to make use of glasses however after their prime has passed they experience blindness. This can not be corrected through transplants however in comparison to normal blindness.

Name: Chakra Vision
Classification: Dojutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: This Dojutsu is obtained from birth and renders the users optic nerves to pick up on chakra alone allowing them to see ambient chakra as well as nature elemental infused chakra in plain sight. On the other hand things which do not possess chakra are invisible to them and don't appear in their sight as well as things which are comprised of Natural energy or are kinjutsu based. In addition techniques which use chakra to conceal the user or sensory networks triggered through the use of chakra likewise are visible to the user allowing them to reveal concealed opponents or tap into already established sensory networks.

Body Mutations

Name: Parasite Technique
Classification: Taijutsu
Class: Passive

Description: This unique genetic structure gives its user the unique ability to break their bodies down to a molecular level at speeds completely dependent on their skill level. The user can use it to merge with the bodies of others, with those with defense tiers equal to their skill level and above blocking the user's ability to merge causing the user to sustain equal rank damage to their body. This technique however is simply a gateway and through techniques based on the Parasite Technique they can improve it further and gain a more diverse method of body melding however it is always limited to those the same race as the user as the cell structure of other races is to different for this technique to be a viable method of jumping bar Medical Nin. Once a medical Nin for a 500 Word Weekly Training the user can meld with 1 other race, then a 1000 Word Weekly Training for a third race and finally a 2000 Word Weekly training for a fourth race. This odd yet unique ability is especially useful as the user can destroy the host's cells from the inside before separating with them leaving them to die or can be used to repair the hosts body allowing them to instantly heal from all damage equal and below their combined rank (I.e two Chunin would allow the host to heal from all damage that was sustained that is equal or below A-rank instantly) both abilities require ranked chakra to preform. The drawback of this technique however is that any injuries the host body receives while merged are also suffered by the user, leaving them susceptible to any of the host's suicide attempts.

Name: Origin Curse Seal
Classification: Juinjutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: The user is able to naturally produce a variety of enzymes which grant them the effect of curse seals. As such, he/she is able to use its power to its full extent without it eroding his body. Unlike those who have been given a cursed seal, user is not limited to one transformation, and can enter whatever form is best for the situation. He/she can change what form he/she takes almost instantly and can isolate the transformation to parts of his/her body. In the stage two form which can only be activated 10 posts into the battle like all the other Curse Seals gives the user a massive power boost giving them all the A-rank tiers simultaneously at once as well as retaining the ability to alter ones body to suit combat. However as a trade off the user enters a murderous rage rendering anyone as a target (within the topic) and does not quell unless stopped either physically by getting killed or knocked unconscious or mentally through genjutsu or rarely intense killing intent. In this form the users skin turns dark, with black sclera in the eyes and a black stripe running from the middle of his/her forehead and down the bridge of his/her nose. This technique also allows the user to create and implant curse seals in others however the rate of success is low with only a 1 in 10 survival rate.

Name: Chakra Loss
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary/Passive

Description: The user's body has a had time retaining chakra and as such they constantly lose an equal rank amount of chakra in battle however it stops upon the users chakra being depleted fully as the disease doesn't kill the user it just leaves them without chakra. Often the user has precise chakra control allowing them to preform more techniques by utilizing the most out of the available chakra, due to dealing with the genetic defect for so long causing their max jutsu limit to be increased by 1.

Name: Genius Level Intellect
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary

Description: When a child is born with genius level intelligence they are able to exceed their peers when it comes to understanding and grasping concepts as well as being able to preform tasks easier than those that are less intelligent than them. When Solo training the word count required is halved and they are able to learn jutsu 1-rank higher than them naturally as long as it doesn't exceed their jutsu limit.

Name: Lowered Intelligence
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary

Description: When a child is born with lowered intelligence they lag behind their peers when it comes to understanding and grasping concepts as well as having to try much harder to keep up with those more intelligent than them. When Solo training the word count required is doubled and they are unable to learn jutsu 1-rank higher than them naturally requiring it to either be mission rewards or through dual or squad training.

Name: Mute
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary

Description: When a child is born mute their vocal cords are unable to produce sound through the fixed vibrations that facilitate speech. Other than their inability to talk they are otherwise exactly like normal shinobi so often this mutation passes as unnoticed.

Name: Deaf
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary

Description: When a child is born deaf their ears are unable to pick up sound waves the world being eerily silent. While this gives them disadvantages in combat their other senses are more fine honed to compensate for the loss of one operating at double normal strength. Often most refuse to talk mainly because they can not hear how their voice sounds like albeit being able to feel the vibrations given off by speaking.

Name: Pain Immunity
Classification: Kinjutsu
Class: Supplementary

Description: Despite the possible benefits of being  fully immune to pain, it comes at the cost of completely lacking the sense of touch and with that the world itself is completely different. Due to the lack of sensation in one's body they are unable to tell when people touch them, if they are injured, and will continue to operate as if nothing is wrong unless the injury severely harms them. Their other senses do not however benefit from the loss of touch
