| Jutsu InformationIn order to fight on the forum one must utilize a type of jutsu which may or may not consume chakra, blood price, require a seal, life-force, sacrifices etc. Because Jutsu plays such an important role on the site the subject matter below will inform you on what you need to know to have a successful role-playing experience on NB. Concerning all types of Jutsu1. Jutsu from the Manga, Anime & Movies are allowed as long as you convert them to the sites template and post them in Jutsu Registration. These can be found on the Naruto Wikia if you are unsure where to look for them. In addition custom jutsu creation is welcome as long as you likewise post them in Jutsu Registration for approval. 2. This is a non-canon site and takes plays Seven Hundred years after the events of the canon timeline. The basic use of this technique functions as a get out of jail free card and as such is limited to once per topic. In addition one is unable to body replace with another person, animal or sentient being however inanimate objects are fair game. The ability to body replace with another person involves and advanced version of the technique which is B-rank and involves contact with the person to initiate.
In addition other "Death Escape" techniques can likewise be only used ONCE per topic. This includes Teleport, Reject and other things of that nature, if it allows death to be escaped with no mention of speed or other things to limit it's exploitation it can only be used once in a topic. The Eight Gates are a powerful set of techniques which unlock the latent power in a Shinobi's body by forcibly opening the chakra gates thus increasing the amount of chakra flowing into their body. Nen Tech = This is the rarest type of technique and are highly specialized forms of mental based techniques which are like the combination of Fabrication and Genjutsu. The reason for its rarity is due to being exclusive to those who have obtained Psionic release as well as the fact that one can only be taught to harness their dormant mental energy (Nen). Nuinjutsu = This is the utilization of one's will being etched into the consciousness of a target in order to preform actions. Nuinjutsu is heavily based on the mind and is separated into six different types based on the personality of the user. It usually involves setting up a contract when developing the exact nature of the seal being used, and generally are referred to as Blessed Seals. Contracts range from anything however setting additional limits on the contract known as Vows, make said contract stronger with the harsher the penalty and the more limited the contracts function the more powerful it is capable of becoming. Technomancy = This is an extremely rare form of technique brought about by the machinations of a minor deity who was seeking a way to empower puppetry. This results in being capable of communicating with puppets, using one's own body as a conduit to interface with technology and bypassing the typical methods of generating new technology that would typically require Raw Materials and construction. Cloak Tech = Techniques revolving around the user of a Zenith's Null Cloak to preform various techniques in battle, Cloak Tech share a common background in that they make use of Null Release in combat to nullify chakra based techniques. Because of this it is regarded as the most powerful out of the physical based types of damage however it's drawbacks include it revolving around cooldowns after use rather than consuming fatigue. Pirate Art = This is a branch of techniques which revolve around the consumption of the Devil Fruits created by three Major Deities (Kami, Cthuhlu & Susanoo) on behest of the Epsilon Republic after fulfilling the required number of sacrifices. The abilities granted by these Devil Fruits are varied but serve to allow Pirates an ability to measure up against even Awakenings. These Devil Fruits are all lethal to any one possessing chakra upon consumption and actually alter the composition of one's body preventing one from awakening post Devil Fruit consumption but not pre. Devil Fruits are divided into three Logia, Zoan and Paramecia and Pirate Arts all comprise techniques relating to them. However when properly used these techniques are even more frightening than their composites and include the use of Chi in the techniques exclusive to the Yakuza.
Nintaijutsu = This is an advanced form of Taijutsu which is supplemented by Ninjutsu to allow physical feats which are not usually possible. Nintaijutsu is also a method of granting physical user's the ability to damage things immune to their physical attacks by means of imbuing them with chakra. With the rising of the Pirates however Kugujutsu has also been known to represent the steering of their Ships and Boats as the technology which gave rise to it was all based in Kugujutsu albeit much more techologically advanced than the attypical Shinobi use of the art. Energy Tech = This is a physical based attack which is fueled by chakra, the attacks under this type are exclusive to Zireh and usually have a concussive nature or can be used to supplement or advance Weaponkin past what is normally possible. In addition techniques of this type that have no definite form typically resemble grey colored chakra which faintly pulsates. Despite being physical based these techniques deal hybrid based damage. Chi Art = This is a branch of techniques which revolves around the use of Chi as an energy source to utilize techniques. Chi is the result of combining the physical energy of the body (Stamina) with the mental energy of the Mind (Nen) similar in ways to how chakra originated but being inferior to it due to not being created by the Deities blessing but rather mortal technology. Chi is very diverse but is incompatable with Chakra the two simply being unable to mix together however it can be utilized to combat any of the other types. There are 4 types of Chi; the first two being called Living Will Flames & Dying Will Flames which are both inferior to Chakra, Mental & Physical based techniques like all Hybrid based techniques are. The third type is called Undying Hatred Flames and is capable of destroying the first two types of Chi (similar to the relationship between Chakra and Void Release). The final type is called Immortal Oath Flames and is equal in strength to Chakra, Mental & Physical based techniques unlike other Hybrid based techniques. These techniques are usually difficult to use effectively or have costs which greatly affect the user however the power gained from utilizing them generally causes experienced Shinobi to eventually gravitate towards them. These techniques typically utilize life-force or Blood Price to fuel them however other require complex arrangements and chakra.
Fuinjutsu = This is one of the most powerful types of technique however the most complex and rarely used because it is particularly tricky to use. It involves the drawing of symbols to create a seal and then activating the seal when placed on the target area which triggers the effect. The thing that makes it so powerful is that you can potentially make a seal to do anything just the more unbelievable the ability (space time manipulation, soul ripping etc) the more complex, the higher the rank the technique and the greater risk it costs the user to utilize. Combination Art result in the combination of different jutsu techniques to make new ones based on Elemental Composition, Shape Manipulation and additional chakra sources. Techniques of this nature do not fall under one's jutsu limits instead they are shared among characters involved and can only be used when the parties involved are present. Combination Arts are usually done with common jutsu types or non clashing elemental releases however other combinations are not unable to occur.

Jutsu on this site can be boosted in strength augmented by multiple thins whether the creation of structures to assist or improve ones abilities, specialized modes which give access to additional abilities, jutsu chains which result in powerful combinations or self buffs which permanently change the power of one's techniques.
However such strength comes with a price as too much power and the user will likewise take damage from their techniques being over buffed as each rank has it's own buffing limit before recoil is taken. This however only applies when using jutsu chains and self buffs as structures can be destroyed in order to negate buffs and specialized modes are usually limited in duration or the number of times one can use them in combat.

Ambient or Non-Elemental is the weakest damage type on the forum. This is why it sets the basis for the Damage Type Match-Up.
Hybrid < Chakra = Physical = Mental < Spiritual = Natural
The explanation is that Hybrid is weaker than Chakra, Physical or Mental all three being equal to one another yet weaker than Spiritual or Natural with those who being tied for the strongest damage types.
However the addition of Elements result in Ambient < Elemental, thus Elemental Hybrid Damage is Equal to Ambient Chakra Damage or Elemental Physical Damage is Equal to Ambient Natural Damage. How the drawback of Elemental Damage over Ambient Damage lies in the various element match-ups whereas Ambient has no weaknesses albeit being weaker than any type of Element.
