Though he was pretty interested in seeing how inside of a reanimation would look himself, he had more important matters at hand. The task at hand seemed like a pretty easy one, just ct Xan once using everything he had learnt today or something he had learnt on his own. Unfortunately for him this time he would be unable to actually get an upper hand over Xan as he didn’t know anything other than what the man had taught him, which in retrospect was pretty sad as he was suppose to be a soldier in Carmen’s army, though after this training session he would make it his duty to learn so more techniques but for now it was time to get wrecked.

Taking his stance he would mull over what he had learnt in training. Though Xan would restrict his speeds to Swift Release, Hiro was pretty damn slow so he would have to rely heavily on Shunpo though he was unsure how much his body could take after excessive use of the technique but he had to try something. Gripping the hilt of his katana, Hiro would shunpo directly towards Xan bullet release speeds, unsheathed his sword and attempted to thrust the sword directly through his heart, or somewhere near that region.

Xan would observe where his student would strike in conjunction with first reaction using it in conjunction with Swift Release to react in time to parry the would be thrust away from his body with the hilt of the katana. He would step back before drawing the blade and swinging it sending two shockwaves speeding towards Hiro both at swift release speeds. Hide your intent, conceal your desire to strike, otherwise your opponent will simply predict your movements and counter accordingly. Xan said as he sheathed his blade on reflex he was deliberately fighting at an academy student level as he knew Hiro was rather unskilled however he believed by using that which he taught him he would be able to land a blow on him which would translate to an opponent on Hiro's level potentially being killed.

Having hesitated a bit after his attempt to deliver his feeble strike, Xan’s seemingly effortless parry would unsettle the young boy and caused him to loosen his grip on the blade which would in turn cause him to drop his katana which was pretty bad seeing as he was pretty confident that he was getting the hang of using a sword and the fact that he was in the middle of fight with two shockwaves heading towards him. Panicking he would quickly bend over to pick up his katana however he somehow managed to trip over his two feet cause him to fall forward. In any normal situation this would be pretty bad however his clumsiness would have indeed saved his ass. During falling he would grab the hilt of his katana and shunpo out of the way at Crashing Ground speeds avoiding the waves. “That was a bit too close for comfort….” Hiro muttered as he started feeling physically drained after using the shunpo so many times. “Tsk, what a pain.” Hiro would take a deep breath and gripped the hilt of his weapon before taking his stance. He needed to conceal his desire to strike Xan as well perform his attack fluidly without hesitation. Striking the blade on a rock nearby with all his might, which wasn’t a lot by the way, the blade would begin vibrate causing him to receive D rank physical damage but that was a small sacrifice.

After his preparations Hiro would spread his two feet out from the front and the back, holding sword up. He would then shupo towards Xan at crashing ground speeds and attempted to deliver a vertical slash from top to bottom although it wouldn’t be one slash but three due to the effects of the tuning blade technique.

Xan would notice how his student upped the ante, however he noticed that he tried to conceal his movement but would instead discard them in favor of a faster strike. Xan would block partially however the katana would snap causing the last two hits to strike him drawing blood. Hm, you didn't conceal your movement but you struck faster. Good do not think inside a box, there are no rules in combat only life and death. That is all, and we are done for today you have proved that there is hope for you yet. Xan said before pointing to the remaining bag before walking off. Those are yours for however long you need them, or better however long you need to purchase better weaponry. I expect you here tomorrow as well...apprentice. he would say before leaving at Echoing Flash speeds.

Training Complete.

A look of disbelief appear on Hiro’s face. Why? Not only he was able to actually hit Xan but he had made him bleed. Was he dreaming? This must be a dream? Surely he was currently stuck in a genjustu and was currently laying face first in a pile of dirt. “No way…” He muttered as he realized that he was had indeed struck and drew blood from Xan. He couldn’t help but laugh as he looked down the weapon he had held. “Thanks pops.” The young boy said but when he looked up, the man was nowhere to be seen.  Shrugging the boy would sheathe the sword and walked over to the bag that the man had left. “Heh neat.” Throwing the bag over his shoulder Hiro would make his way home from a long and deserved rest.
