In truth Hiro was too exhausted to even attempt to keep up with Xan and so unfortunately he hadn’t seen what Xan had done and was unable to counter his attack, thus the attack had landed causing a slash mark across his mid section. Letting out a soft sigh, Hiro would turn around to face his sensei. “I guess if it was anyone else besides you I would’ve won.” He said before rubbing his hand against the wound that was slightly bleeding. This was the first time he had actually gotten slashed by a sword but he would prefer this than a kick in the nuts any day of the week. “Just gimme some time and I’ll probably be able to beat Tumu-san” He stated with a smile, although that would be a challenge seeing as Tumu could fire bullets at twice his speed with little effort but he knew for a fact he was ready for that rematch with that damn demon

"In swordsmanship you are Tumu's superior by far. What he has over you is experience and age, but the way you are going you should be able to defeat him once you become a Silver Knight." Xan said giving Hiro the praise he was due, truthfully Tumu was not a fighter, he was an infiltration specialist though he could hold his own if need be. Still his apprentice needed to aspire to something if not him then the drive to be better than Tumu was something at least. "Continue polishing your skills, I will be training my other student for the time being you've earned a degree of autonomy. Socialize & branch out your connections within Pandora beyond just my sphere of influence, this will be our last one on one training session until you reach Silver. But feel free to drop in my training sessions with Zaku Hotumi whenever you feel like it." With those words said Xan would vanish having moved away at Echoing Flash speeds leaving Hiro once again alone in the training grounds. It was pretty productive, he had gotten an evaluation of his apprentice and was pleased with his skill with just the sword, unlike Hiro he could train Zaku far harsher since he regenerated so it was only a matter of time before he could get his student to a level that would make his apprentice push his skill to the limit. Rivals always did that, it was a pity that Tikatchi Mishura was too much of a coward to be a good one, but one day he would fight him again and this time he would not be able to run before Xan claimed his soul as a sacrifice to Jashin-sama.

"I've grown disillusioned with the idea of a shinobi, innumerable amounts of them are seen running around throwing around flashy ninjutsu and have lost sight of what it truly means to be a true assassin. Perhaps I'll be the one to shatter that illusion, and reeducate the populace on what it really means...to be called, Shinobi."

Hiro couldn’t help but smile at the praise that his sensei was giving him, though he doubted that he could actually beat Tumu at his current level nor at Silver Knight however one thing was for sure, he was getting stronger and sooner or later he will be a force to be reckoned with, either that or become a complete disappointment and failure. “Ugh I hope not.” He thought to himself before tossing the broken katana aside as it was now as useful to him as vampire without fangs, luckily he had a few spares back home. “Well I should go have this wound looked at even though it’s shallow.” Hiro muttered to himself as he dragged his tired body out of the area and to home.
