----------------------

Zaku stood in the training yard that he had met Xan in when he was only thirteen. He could recall the day as if it were just yesterday, but that was really a given. Who wouldn't remember loosing their eyes and being forced into a world of darkness? It was sort of a harrowing experience. He hadn't been expecting the blow to his most vulnerable exposed organs and his sensei had made sure he would stand no chance of an attempted counter attack. It was a cruel and malicious thing to do, but it had made Zaku stronger over all, so he couldn't complain. Pain and hardship were amazing tutors, and Zaku had picked up Iaido all the faster thanks to them. He was well on his way to mastering it too. He was shaping up to be the ultimate killing machine, though why Xan had insisted upon him focusing on teaching others rather than honing his combat skills, Zaku would never know. He didn't teach people anything other than how painful and torturous death could truly be. The thought of everyone he had killed and how he had killed him brought a devious smile to the pinkette's face. Some would say he loved killing too much, but Zaku thought he loved it just enough. It was a shame that he wasn't born into the Ibwa clan, he would've made a splendid killer. Though the harming himself part was something that turned him off to the idea. The minimal amount of pain he received from using his own techniques was bad enough, but having to kill himself just to kill someone else? That was pushing it a bit. His smile slowly ebbed and he moved to the middle of the training ring, looking around a bit. He was waiting for a few others, and then he could have some fun.

After about five minutes of waiting, Zaku was joined by five other people, each carrying bokken and dressed in identical black padded suits. Zaku was apart of the CIHU Order, the organization in charge of Teaching and Training specialists. They had all sorts of equipment for training in order to make sure everyone stayed safe and didn't get hurt too much. Zaku thought it was a waste of time. They were Pandorans and people hated them. In battle there were no padded suits and people were bound to get hurt really, really badly. Cowering from that hurt would do nothing but weaken them when the time came to face it. However, no one would agree to train with him unless they were allowed to wear this gear, so Zaku was forced to grit his teeth and bare it. He didn't think they would learn to pad up so quickly when facing him in a spar, but two sessions was all it took And it's a real fucking bummer... They all moved into position around them and he placed his hand on his sword hilt with a bored expression. Today he thought he would work on fighting with only his hearing, since he hadn't really been using that as of late. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, exhaling and letting his hearing sharpen so he could pick up on every movement the others made. They were still for a long moment, the only sounds being the slight breeze and the slight rustling of fabric as one of them shifted. Then, they each came to life and rushed him all at once. Power in numbers, right? Wrong. That may work on most people, but Zaku wasn't most people. He dipped below one of the fighters, sweeping his legs from under him and sending him sprawling into another fighter that was rushing from the opposite direction. A third fighter saw his change and movement and went to try and intercept Zaku, only to be side-stepped and receive a powerful fist to the side of his head before a foot slammed into his chest. The fourth fighter was a girl and she was coming at Zaku from behind, seeing an opening. It was quickly closed as Zaku twirled on her, bringing up his sheathed blade to knock her flat on her ass with a well placed hilt thrust. As he stopped the twirl, Zaku was facing the fifth combatant who just managed to bring his practice sword right down on Zaku's head....

Or so it appeared. The sword went through an illusionary clone of Zaku created by his accelerated Samurai speed, the swordsman appearing behind the other in order to bring his sheath crashing into the other's ribs, bringing him to his knees. Zaku rested his blade on his shoulder with a light breath and let his eyes drift open, looking at the others sprawled on the ground before him. He scoffed with a sneer of disdain and barked an order for them to get up, all of his "students" rushing to obey the command. He barked more orders and they began performing slashes much like he had to when he was just starting as Xan's apprentice: a vertical cut before sheathing, a diagonal cut before sheathing and a horizontal cut before sheathing and starting all over again. They all performed it with as much dedication as he had, trusting the word of their teacher to be what was best for them. Should he ask them to throw themselves in a pool of lava, he would probably get little resistance from his puppies. He would pretend to wonder if this was how Xan saw him when he first started, but he knew that wouldn't be close. Xan had seen him as a weapon yet forged, something that could be invaluable should one nurture and craft it right. These people...they were just punching bags to Zaku. It was fucked up, but it was the truth. After about forty five minutes of the drawing exercises, Zaku ordered them to try again. This time, the girl was the last to fall, having actually managed to cross swords with Zaku, but it was only once. He ordered the others to perform the drills again whilst he faced the girl, telling her he wanted a one-on-one duel with her. She nodded and adopted a practiced stance. He did the same and when he gave the signal, they started in a whirl of blunted weapons clacking against each other. Zaku wasn't really surprised when he found that she could keep up with his lower levels of speed. However when he started to amp it up, she followed. Soon they were blurs of motion that the others could hardly keep track of, bokken clashing with sheath in a glorious melody that mocked a true battle. Zaku was excited, as very little people were able to keep up with him like this. Of course he wasn't going all out, but that she could even stand up to this was a feat in and of itself. Soon, however, she became fatigued and couldn't keep up. She let an opening slip through and Zaku disarmed her and had her on the ground in no time at all. He smirked at her and told her that she could use a bit of work, but her skills weren't that bad. He then dismissed them, seeing as he wouldn't get anything as interesting out of the others and he would much rather be alone for his real training regimen.

Zaku performed a few handseals and felt the blood in his system burn away as he made five clones of himself. The each moved in a circle around him like the others had, and he closed his eyes and breathed deeply once more. However his eyes snapped back open with his Dojutsu active as the clones moved into motion, each attempting to grab onto him and keep him in place or burn him due to being comprised of pure Heat. He looked to stumble and "fall", moving into a sprint as he came close to the ground, his Shinsoku pushing him forward faster than the average Shunpo. He zipped around the clones several times, toying with them and getting practice with moving across shorter distances. The clones dove after him as he moved around and after Zaku thought he had the hang of using his Shinsoku in short bursts, he turned and dashed through the clones he had so cleverly lined up with his movements. Using his Battojutsu, he was able to slice through each of them a number of times in order to cause them to explode into bursts of heat. He placed his blade back on his hips and stretched, his back arching much like a cat's and popping a bit. Zaku needed to remember to pick up some exercises that limbered him up each day. He found that sometimes his back would begin to ache every once in a while and that was unacceptable. He yawned and wondered what he should do now. He had practiced with his Echolocation, and then with his Shinsoku and some of his Kenjutsu, refining his skill with these techniques. He couldn't really think of anything else he needed to get done. He was just about to turn and leave when something occurred to him that brought a smile to his face.

He looked around the training area, looking for something specific. When he couldn't find it, he gave a small huff and turned on his heel. He let his feet carry him at a slow walk, not wanting to have to resort to using his full speed for something as trivial as walking through his village. As he walked, he gave mischievous smiles and flirtatious winks to all the cute girls he passed. Some guys too. Some blushes and some countered with cat calls, whistles and blown kisses. That made Zaku laugh outwardly. He loved that Pandora was a place of indulgences, that one didn't have to be shy about their preferences and could do whatever they damn well pleased. It gave him a sort of warm and fuzzy feeling inside, most likely pride for his Empire. He flicked a lock of pink hair over his shoulder as it fell into his eyes annoyingly. He had to do this a few more times before he cursed and pulled out the red sash he had used for a blindfold, using it to tie up his hair. The white bang still fell to the side of his face, but the rest didn't impede his vision so he was happy. He started to think about getting a hair cut when he came to the bridge leading to his destination: Minrai Castle. This is where he had received his Vampire Curse Mark, where he had set out on his journey to become a worthy Knight. He felt the presence of the mark as if it were a caress upon his skin, and thinking about the mark made him think of how it had progressed to his advanced variant. Ivana had bitten him and it had been so painful. His whole body had been engulfed in horrid pain and he wanted nothing more in that moment than to die. He was glad he hadn't, because then he wouldn't be where he was at the moment. He wouldn't be one of the strongest Silver Knights. He wouldn't be Xan's apprentice. He would be nothing. Zaku hated the thought of being second best, so the thought of being nothing at all set his very soul on fire. He pushed the thought aside and walked into the castle with purpose.

He walked and walked, searching all the rooms while looking for one in particular. Most of the rooms he looked into where filled with books or equipment for experiments. Nothing he was interested in. There was one room that was filled with torture implements, and one filled with tools for a...different kind of torture. Zaku slipped into said room and snatched up a few things for himself, pocketing them and moving on as if nothing happened. He kept looking for some time, moving from room to room. He was starting to get a bit aggravated when he found the room he was looking for. It was a training area, with one wall lined from floor to ceiling with weapons of all shapes and sizes. Zaku looked at everything there with a smile that grew wide, much like a Cheshire Cat. There were large axes and blunt hammers, quarterstaffs and scythes, daggers and bladed whips. There were ranged weapons as well: sling shots and stones, bows of all sizes, crossbows, and senbon launchers. There was ample ammo for all of them too. The weapons were sectioned off by type, so Zaku went to where the swords lay. He looked through them before pulling down an uchigatana and testing it's weight. He smiled at the feel of it in his hand and moved to an open space. There were others there, but they were away from him, so he had a bit of privacy. He closed his eyes and held the blade in one hand. He took a deep breath, centering himself and blocking out the world. He then performed three slashes in quick succession: one vertical, one diagonal and one horizontal. As he finished the final slash, he paused for a fraction of a second before doing it again. He did this over and over, slashing three times continuously. He kept count of the times be performed these slashes in his head and once he had performed a hundred with that one hand, he tossed the uchigatana to the other during the short pause. He then began the same exercise with that hand. Three slashes followed by an extreme short pause. Once he had done a hundred of those, he took a two handed grip and began performing the slashes. Throughout the time he had been doing this, he had been getting gradually faster, slowly increasing his speed until his blade was just a blur of silver cutting the air. Once he had completed one hundred of the two handed slashes, he began alternating between the grips with every set of slashes, his speed steadily increasing. Once he had completed three hundred of the alternating slashes, he smiled a wicked smile and tossed the blade in between two trainees who had been chatting not too far away. The blade imbedded itself deep within the wall between them with a loud crack and they turned to Zaku with fear in their eyes. He simply chuckled and walked away and out of Minrai Castle, his training done for the day. He didn't know what he wanted to do for the rest of his time, though. He was free from the duties of a Knight for a while, since no one had approached him with any concerns. His mind immediately went to testing out his new toys. He didn't know anyone who would be willing though. But as he stepped off of the bridge away from the castle, he saw a lovely little Incubus standing at a storefront, giving him the biggest 'Fuck-Me' eyes Zaku had ever seen. The Demon beckoned Zaku with a pointed claw before walking away, hips swaying. Zaku smiled his signature smiled and followed, much like an obedient dog. Well...dog was the right term.

What wouldn't one give to become stronger? People would give their lives, their morality, their senses, anything if it meant that they would no longer be a weakling. Those who knew the keen sting of failure and what faced the weak when they did fall fought tooth and nail to obtain their strength. Zaku himself had been a haughty young teen, he thought himself a cut above the rest. His world came crashing down around him, however, when he had been blinded and forced to traverse a world of darkness in the name of becoming stronger. He had been forced to learn his way about the world of darkness, he had to learn to fight without his eyes. Thanks to the blood that had eradicated his chakra upon becoming a Dhamphir, Zaku's body was easily able to adapt to the change in the shape of granting him Echolocation. He used that to fight instead, listening to his opponent's movements and tracking them without being able to see in order to deliver a deadly strike when they least expected it. Needless to say, many folks learned never to underestimate a blind boy with a sword, though one would think underestimating anyone with a sword would automatically be seen as folly.

Then, blinded and learning to use that to his advantage, he had stumbled upon something invaluable. A Naga locked in fierce combat with a Hawk man until they both came to a draw of sorts. The Naga had shed her skin in order to heal herself, her weapons lost to her, the Hawk being heavily wounded but still armed. Their match came to a standstill as they noticed Zaku, he listened and needed to make a decision. Who would he help? He didn't know what possessed him, but he picked up one of the scimitars the woman had been wielding and moved forwards... bringing it crashing down into the Hawk's wing. The creature let out a wail of pain and the Naga wasted no more time. She picked up her other weapon and drove it through her enemy's heart, ending the battle that had been going on for sometime yet. In thanks for helping her in her time of need, the Naga took Zaku with her to the land of Virgo within the Summoning Realm, directly to the home of the exalted Snake Contract. Viewing his bravery as something that could be used to great effect, Zaku was allowed to sign the contract as it's Master Summoner, and left that day with unflinching allies in the snakes.

He had killed in order to receive the Legendary Kusanagi, a powerful weapon that he was just itching to get the chance to use in a real fight. He needed to train more in order to utilize it properly, he knew. He needed to perfect not only the sword styles Xan did his utmost to drill into him, but also the other techniques within his arsenal. He also needed to make time to meet with Cihuacaotl in order to learn the fighting style of the Snakes, as it would be the best for usage with Kusanagi. First, his Kenjutsu needed more than a bit of a tune up. While he wasn't getting rusty, he was getting too used to facing opponents that could not keep up with his strikes and blows. He needed to find someone who could at least match him blow for blow, if not give him a challenge. His go to would be Hiro or Cleo, but they were busy with each other at the moment. He wanted a challenge, not to be completely demolished, so Xan was out of the question due to his inability to hold back even when sparring. That left him with the more senior members of his Order, so he enlisted five of the most skilled swordsmen to help him with his training. And that was were he stood.

He had placed his blindfold on for the sake of fairness, not wanting it to be too easy for himself. His Echolocation was active, so the more lax ones who shifted about slightly or wore loose clothing were the ones he could sense with the most ease, even despite them all attempting to keep as still as possible. It made him want to smirk, but he couldn't let them know that they weren't safe from his ears. Not yet anyway. He almost got bored of waiting for them to make their moves when one of them took a rather fast step forward before appearing before him seemingly out of nowhere. The shock didn't last for more than a second before Zaku was tearing his sword from his sheath and parrying the blow. He pushed his attacker backwards just in time to block another blow from the left. He twisted his arms and wrenched his blade down hard, disarming his opponent before kicking them square in the stomach, sending them careening backwards. Another came from behind, though Zaku simply ducked and slipped between their legs before sending the blade of his bokken crashing into their leg to throw them off balance.

Zaku stood leisurely as he sheathed his blade and let those he had knocked down get back up. He didn't hold back his smirk this time, as he noticed that two of his sparring partners hadn't moved during that assault. They were standing still... too still. His blade flashed from his sheath and blocked those that had attempted to come down on his head. The two stationary presences vanished, so he had to assume they were clones of some sort. It was a clever strategy, attempting to fool his senses, but he not only had perception, but speed on his side. Very few things could match the combination on the field of battle, and it was just his luck that both made up for the short comings of the other. He entertained the thought of pushing upwards, but quickly cast it away. It would be fun to play with them, but if this were a real fight he knew he would not have that option. It would be do or die. A quick Shunpo had him a few feet away, while the lack of support caused his opponents to fall to the ground. Unfortunately for them, they had no way to stay suspended in mid air. The sight of them flailing as they fell was probably comical, and Zaku lamented slightly that he hadn't seen it.

He gave a small sigh and barked an order for them to get serious. As he moved back to his place in the middle of the circle, they all prepared for another round. He couldn't see their faces, but he could sense the change in the atmosphere. It seemed they were determined to thrash him as a form of "training". He smirked maliciously and readied himself for what was to come. Bodies tensed and then burst into movement, and the sound of wood clacking against wood soon filled the air. Zaku was having little trouble keeping up with the strikes from different angles, his bokken moving this way and that in order to turn and block blows. They were really giving it their all and it sent a spike of excitement through Zaku. He loved the thrill of battle, even if he wasn't going all out with his attacks. It was exhilarating to match someone blade to blade, feeling the danger as one dances across a sword's edge. Of course, the danger of being cut was removed due to the practice swords, the rush he got from simply moving his bokken about was more than enough. He found himself getting lost in the rhythm of parrying and turning and blocking, letting his mind clear as he entered a state of pure reaction, rather than thinking of his next move in relation to his opponent's positioning or move set. It was liberating, in a way, letting him fight without having to think or feel. It was as though he was an extension of his blade and his blade an extension of himself, rather than one being a living creature and the other being a tool. The blows just kept raining down and he kept blocking and blocking, his arms feeling the acute burn of exercise as he worked the muscles in order to perform the motions. He unconsciously found himself performing his blocks in three sets: horizontal, diagonal and vertical. He wanted to chuckle, finding that his sensei's teachings stained everything that he did when it came to combat. Even down to the way he moved when his snakes were on the field. It was a testament to just how influential the lessons were. He came back to himself and decided that it was time to change his exercise a bit. He looked for openings before turning each of the incoming blades with enough force to send those wielding them hurdling back until Zaku sat at the center with his bokken on his shoulder and his breath coming in and out in hurried streams.

"Alright!" He said once his breath was tame, pulling down his blindfold so that it was around his neck and showing a devious twinkle in his eye "That was fun, but now it's time for me to get serious. Give me your all and don't even entertain the thought of holding back!! I've you do, I'll kill you, bring you back to life and then kill you again!" He let out a maniacal chuckle as they all moved back into position. He placed the bokken he had back into it's holster and made sure his breath was steady. He entered the stance that he had formulated from the style Xan insisted he learn. It was made for the sole purpose of rivaling Hiro's own ultimate kenjutsu style, the Blood Moon Stance. Zaku didn't have any of the capabilities Hiro had, so he needed to forge it from everything he knew intimately and everything he had learned. It was even a fusion of the composite style's names. Iaido, for its interception abilities, Tenmetsu-ko, for its speed, Kendo, for its battering power, Batto, for its reach and cutting capabilities, and finally Hitsu Mitsurugi-Ryu, for its combination of blistering speed and power. All of that, bound together with his Demonization, made the Iaimetsu Kento-Ryu Kenjutsu Style, making him one of the most dangerous swordsmen on the face of mother Gaia. Other Samurai were scarcely able to keep up with him, while even Reapers find difficulty in matching him blow for blow. There were only two people he knew for certain could match or surpass him in a battle of blades: Hiroshima D. Isley and Xander I. Isley. Cleo could probably give him a run for his money, if she could find it within herself to actually draw her blade against him with intent to harm. However, she was a medic first and foremost, so harming others intentionally, especially when they were people she cared about, was not her style. Due to the lack of stimulating dance partners, he was forced to hold back most times in order to get the most pleasure possible out of his fights. However, he still wanted a wider range of people he could fight with abandon, as there was little better than being capable of fighting freely without any shackles. He thought on this wistfully as the others prepared to launch their attacks. He was so engrossed in his daydream, that he just barely had time to react to one of the five rushing him head-long. Unfortunately for his attacker, he still had time to react.

The bokken was molded into the shape of a shinobigatana, for the exact purpose of using his Iaimetsu Kento-Ryu. He needed to refine it, and that was precisely what he was going to do. The first step was refining his Kyougan. He found that when in this stance, he didn't need to activate his Kyougan to capitalize on the Time-Slowing perception. His target moved in for a cut, but it came in slow-motion. Zaku parried it and followed through with a blow of his own, knocking the man back. He took a moment to shift his blindfold over his right eye, so that it wouldn't be as awkward to keep that one closed. He had just enough time to finish the motion before the man was attacking again, but once more finding his blade blocked and turned by Zaku. He was getting visibly frustrated, as Zaku could tell, and that just brought a smile to the young man's face. The guy began upping his speed, moving faster and faster in order to try and catch Zaku off-guard. Once the man reached the limit of Zaku's perception without his Dojutsu, the pinkette activated it. This increased the cap on his reaction capabilities further and caused the man to become even more frustrated. Zaku wasn't even attacking anymore, he was just parrying and turning the other's sword away as if he were swatting at a harmless fly. The guy let out a growl of frustration and activated something, his muscles bulking up and his speed increasing even further and the pink haired male felt a bolt of arousal flow through him. Whether it was from the prospect of an even better fight or the sight of a gloriously buff guy in front of him, he didn't know. Frankly, he didn't care either. Zaku was forced to perk up his ears, activating his Echolocation in the process, to keep up with the flurry of cuts and slashes and attacks coming his way. Zaku was feeling the heartbeat of battle and it was glorious. He hadn't felt this good in ages, and to think the guy had been beaten by him this entire training. It was a refreshing change. The guy was getting faster and faster and Zaku's arms were zipping this way and that, blocking and striking, parrying and thrusting. He found that it was getting hard for him to keep up, so he did something drastic. He took the end of his blindfold in his teeth and pulled, letting the silk flutter to the ground as his Raidengan flared to life. Everything slowed, the others watching the display with mixed expressions of awe and fear, the ribbon fluttering to the ground, a little butterfly fluttering about off to his side. However, the man's blade was still coming at break neck speeds. He was fast and Zaku was hot and he felt himself pulse through his pants. That was fucking sexy.

Before Zaku new what he was doing his bokken had clattered to the ground and he was moving past the man's defenses. He jumped onto the other's chest, sending his own sword flying some distance away, as well as themselves to the ground. He had very few issues letting someone top him, he even liked it sometimes, but usually that didn't happen. But this guy was the epitome of dominance, all muscles and hard lines and Zaku was pretty sure he could break him if he tried. And Zaku absolutely loved being broken. The life of an extremely kinky vampire with sadomasochistic tendencies allowed you to realize this like that. They were on the ground, Zaku perched upon the other's hips and looking down. He took a moment to drink in the other's appearance. The muscles were sexy as all hell, but Zaku hadn't really notices the large curving horns or the sharp claws the other had. A Demon then, even hotter. His eyes met the other male's and he could see the look of confusion in his eyes. Zaku gave a smirk and rolled his hips forwards so that his... problem was evident. The other's eyes widened before darkening fractionally. Zaku had a second to puzzle about that before he was yanked down and pulled into a bruising kiss. It wasn't gentle or romantic, this wasn't a kiss that was shared by lovers in a movie, this was something primal. Something that accented wanting and need and the raw urge to fuck and be fucked. It was punctuated by sharp teeth nicking lips and blood being spilled, the kiss being sweetened all the more for the vampire by that coppery tang. Then, he found the Demon's tongue pushing it's way into his mouth. Not one to give up without a fight, Zaku's own met the intruder and they began a dance for dominance.

It was all too soon before they had to pull up for air, and in that moment Zaku found himself quickly rolled over and pressed into the ground. The Demon's lips were back against him, but this time the kiss wasn't something playful. It was powerful and it demanded obedience and submission. With a small whimper that Zaku would forever deny that he gave, he relented and let the other take command. The Demon rolled his hips to meet Zaku and the vampire just had to take notice of how large the hardness against his own was. It was a very good thing that he liked the feeling of being filled to bursting, because if he were a lesser man he might've balked and made a hasty escape. They continued kissing and rolling their hips until the point were their clothes became the perpetrators of a most grievous crime: depriving them of skin on skin contact. They were quite literally torn away, shreds of fabric clinging on for dear life while others were cast to the side without a care in the world. Zaku looked at the demon for a moment and realized that he wasn't as large as he had originally thought, but he was still enough to cause him to walk funny for a few days. And that was simply perfect. He found himself inelegantly thrown onto his stomach, his hips pulled back and into the air. It was in that moment that he noticed the others hadn't left. The two females were looking at them with rapt attention and colored cheeks while the males, most likely vanillas in every sense of the word, were looking anywhere but. A dismissal was on his tongue when, in a single powerful thrust, he was filled to bursting with a delicious pulsing heat. The words turned to moans as the pain from the suddenness of the breaching mingled with the pleasure of it, his eyes falling shut and his head dropping to the ground as he lost himself to the sensations. He hadn't the mind to deactivate his Echolocation, so he sensed when to presences left as fast as they could while the others stayed put. He smirked and hoped the girls would enjoy the show. The Demon's teeth sank into his shoulder, breaking the skin and causing delicious little bursts of pleasure and pain, as he set a brutal starting pace. Everything was too hot and intense for Zaku to last a long amount of time, but he wanted to enjoy it as much as possible. Whimpers and moans escaped his lips and possessive growls flowed freely from the man thrusting in and out of him. Within a matter of minutes, pleasure crashed into him and his vision went white as the male behind him gave one deep rumbling growl and filled him with steaming hot warmth.

A lazy smile painted itself across his face as the other withdrew from him, allowing Zaku to flop onto the ground and just enjoy the afterglow of their deeds. After a few minutes, he opened his eyes and looked up at the two females that were still there. They were still blushing something fierce and he had no doubt that this would be something of a fantasy for them later that night when they were alone in their rooms. It brought a chuckle to his lips and he waved them off. They left, looking somewhat sullen, and Zaku found himself being lifted into strong arms. He looked at the Demon with a raised brow and the other simply let out a possessive growl before carrying Zaku off. He didn't know where they were headed, but the pinkette was sure he was in for a night of fun.
