Retraining Typhoon Turn 3 Times:

& Doing Hardened Bodies 1st Weekly Training (1000 Words)

---------------------------------------

Calypso had set off riding in the ship she managed to rescue from that woman who left numerous questions in her head. She had been a spy of that she was certain but to concoct all of those plans just to assassinate someone who was of no importance to the world at large made her confused. Surely it wouldn't be her last encounter with a spy but hopefully she would eventually learn how to decipher exactly what was going on in the shadows something only they seemed to be privy to. Either way she would use this lull in activity to practice her Typhoon Turn as it was the lone technique her Bounty Hunter rescuer had left her. Initially she was skeptical after all she was a Kukinorite and thus was capable of accelerating at varying speeds all on her own by just relying on her skates, however it was only when he revealed to her the true use of this technique that she understood how much better it was in comparison to Trick Speed. It was taxing on the body as it relied on the conversion of her potential energy into kinetic energy at a greater degree than was normally possible when one began to move. That was why it was fatiguing when used constantly but she had gradually learned how to offset such things ever since she decided to truly embark on the path of becoming a Bounty Hunter.

Her body had already been strengthened naturally after all she was a Gravity Child and she was not unfamiliar with the concept of straining the body after all that was the major drawback of using the Roads without a Regalia. Still she would push on, as she was already capable of the Double Typhoon, now she just needed to break through her limit and grasp the Triple Accel. Initially she would have some setbacks due to the small area of the ship and she would even occasionally go flying off the ship almost hitting the water. But she was a Kukinorite so she didn't fall as quickly as normal pirates and when she needed to she could even kick off the air for a double jump to get herself back onto the ship. It would take about 30 or so minutes before she had established a Rhythm, try to use Triple Typhoon and then get thrown off the ship due to her not being able to control it all that well and then using Air to jump in the air and before she could start falling using Typhoon Turn again to get back onto the ship. This Rhythm is what essentially allowed her to eventually master the technique as she learned how to not only chain it with her Kukinorite techniques but also, use it in conjunction with her Waserotapa for movements and kicks. As such she wouldn't even realize that she had already started to use Triple Typhoon until she noticed one of the people on the ship let out a gasp at how she was able to move off the ship and in the air without any difficulty.

She would smirk, showing off a little bit as she had earned it but then she felt like there was more she could do, thus instead of waiting she would try and push her luck further maybe she would be able to not only grasp Triple Typhoon but also Quadruple Typhoon. She would notice the difference between the two almost immediately, whereas Triple boasted a boosted distance in comparison to Double, Quadruple was an expansion of Double by using it at a higher speed. As such she was able to adapt to it's use easier as she was literally built for high speed combat. Her bones and her body were enhanced during the Gravity Child operation for that sole purpose taking into account the various g-forces that her body would eventually have to endure due to the use of the Hurricane Road. Truly she was blessed by being born into her clan and even more so by having a clan head who had the foresight to realize that their growth was being stunted by remaining in the allied shinobi nations. The conflict and the pussyfooting that a Kukinorite had to endure while being away from the open skies were doing more harm than good for them and more of them began to see the roads as a means to an end rather than the embodiment of freedom that the clans founders sought. The thing was a Kukinorite aimed for the sky, breaking free of the restrictions set by Gaia in order to seize nature for themselves, not the other way around, while chakra was a boon it was that in as much as a burden. All they needed was their Roads and their bodies and intellect would do the rest, it was a wonder why the Kings & Queens rarely had a reason to use their chakra in a battle unless they had no other option. It was due to this pondering that she would eventually end up not mastering Quadruple Accel causing her to decide to take a break for a moment if only to catch her breath. She was panting lightly as it had been a while since she exerted herself for such a long period of time. Still she felt much better than she did previously not to mention much stronger she would be able to use her new mastery of her Typhoon turn to her advantage in the coming island.

Victory Island was it? Something like that well, she couldn't wait to get there, having decided to start in what many referred to as the weakest sea just to gain experience in the ways of bounty hunting. She knew she wasn't the best at tracking down people and would probably bumble around for a bit so she would fit in well with the people there. Either way it was better than trying to start in the sea native to her homeland. No she didn't wish to fight such monsters all on her lonesome at least not now. Maybe if she was fortunate to unlock Mantra she would stand a better chance otherwise well...she would have to get far stronger if she hoped to stand a chance. After resting for about an hour or so she felt rested enough to do some resistance training and thus would look around the boat for some rope and would tie it around herself securely before diving into the ocean. While it seemed ridiculous it was one of the many ways her clan trained their bodies after all water was far denser than air so if one could learn how to move and use their roads underwater than it would be that much easier above it.

She would pace herself not wanting to exert herself too much and thus faint and promptly drown underwater, but instead she would do it reasonably her body protesting at her trying to skate underwater rather than swim. Most of the time she spent being dragged along by the moving ship and getting nothing done until she felt she was running out of breath and made a desperate swim to the surface. But she would always dive back in without fail because her drive wouldn't let her quit at the sign of struggle. No she aimed for the top always besides what would she be if she feared the ocean after all storms were at their most powerful when at sea. The constant humidity and the lack of land around them allowed them to travel for miles uninterrupted, while the ocean was guided by their winds and surged with a storms power. No she would not be like one of her cousins and fear the ocean. Even if she did find a Devil Fruit which she liked enough to consume it she would not fear the ocean but respect it and it's power. As taking a bite of a Devil Fruit took away ones ability to swim sure enough but it wasn't as if she needed to touch ocean to generate her storms. No she would maintain a respectful distance just as the sky did the sea and while they capable of interacting with one another at no time did the sea lash out at the sky. No occasionally the sky might send an emissary in the form of tornadoes but those were rare and quickly fizzled out and such she would behave in a similar manner. Still for now she quite liked being able to swim, and would capitalize on it for as long as it lasted.

Eventually she would emerge from the water her breath somewhat ragged and her body tired yet her spirit was invigorated as she felt a difference in her body. She would dry herself with a towel and then attempt one of her tricks after generating some Stratus Clouds around her. Sure enough the clouds compressed themselves and were launched into the air yet she didn't feel the sting of the exertion on her body and it brought a smile to her face. She was now capable of using the weakest of her tricks without suffering from recoil and it was the first step at eventually not being burdened by the use of her Road at all. She knewit would only get easier from here as she now knew what worked for her and her body would stay in shape far longer than her human counterparts within her clan especially with her current age. She would pat her legs in amusement, thinking about how the elder clansmen and clanswomen always harped about wishing they were still young so they didn't have to exercise as much as they had to in order to keep their resilience. She knew she wouldn't ever have to suffer from such a burden in her old age, that was for sure.

Doing Hardened Bodies 2nd Weekly Training (750 words)

Calypso was currently doing her morning ritual which was pretty simple, she would first sit up and look around to check her surroundings and when she was sure everything was all good she would get up and stretch while aboard The Monsoon. From there she would strip down and get her soap that she also kept in her little sleeping place along with her Niikos and promptly scrub her body while using the sea water around her to bathe. Once that was done she would proceed to wash her clothes and hang them so they could dry while she sat back down and tried to zone out so she could mute out the cold. It was something she had begun to do ever since she made her breakthrough the first time when training her body as in order to improve it further she needed to endure harsh conditions. It would be a way of passively adapting so that when she got to her next sea, Frozen she would be used to being in freezing conditions. Still she did plan on buying proper winter attire otherwise she would probably end up with hypothermia and die as that ocean wasn't named out of irony as many parts of it were in fact filled with huge amounts of ice. About half and hour would pass and she would check if her clothes had dried since the wind was blowing pretty heavy. Unfortunately they hadn't so she was forced to remain naked while in a meditative pose as the wind blew against her form.

She compared it to some of the Gravity Children tests that she undertook as a child, it was a combination of a medical exam and a test of her physical capabilities as they wanted to make sure that the process took to her. It wasn't uncommon that even by attempting it, it still happened to be a failure some people weren't meant to be gravity children within the clan. It was the same in regards to the Brain Charger operation, as some individuals didn't have the mental strength to survive the operation and thus they were rejected and told to either explore another avenue or remain a normal Kukinorite without any enhancements. Not that it was a bad thing seeing as the Kukinorite council was comprised of all of the Kings and Queens in addition to the current clan head and the clan elder who traditionally was from the lineage of Cassandra. Even now her name had a tremendous sway within the clan seeing as their current clan head was in many opinions the first worthy to bear the Duo name. Sure Lynx was powerful no one denied that but she lacked the drive her granddaughter possessed, but it was obvious to all of those within the clan that Jazz wasn't bound by just wanting to become a powerful clan head no her ambitions would likely change the shinobi world. Which was why she had decided to move the clan so that they wouldn't be targeted by the fall out, and of course could hone their skills truly in their element in the skies with their long time allies the Arashi. Even those of the Juryoku Clan had found their way to them, with them being sprinkled between Nightmare Isle and Kakegoe Island setting up their communities rather than find a dwelling place of their own. But that was probably because the main part of the clan was still based in the ASN, so she couldn't fault them for that.

More time would pass and eventually she stopped feeling the wind and her clothes had in fact dried so she was able to be clothed once more allowing her to move to the next phase of her conditioning. She would steer her ship and cause it to accelerate and she would then jump off of it and try to race it. It look a bit of doing at first but eventually she managed to get the hang of it while her blunderbuss as a weight to keep the pedals pressed. While the Monsoon was pretty fast, she had things going for her that allowed her to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time so that was what gave her the edge to compete with it. In fact it was something she wanted to hone in preparation if she ever was in a situation where someone either stole her waver or, she needed to catch up to a ship without it present. So far she felt she was doing well enough that she would do fine in such a situation, after all it wasn't like she had a crew so it was up to her to cover all of her bases on her own. Otherwise she wouldn't be a successful Bounty Hunter and would probably end up dead somewhere down the line.

Word Count Req. = 750
Word Count = 814

Thus 2nd Weekly Complete.

Doing Hardened Bodies 3rd Weekly Training (500 Words)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Truthfully she had already noticed the differences in her body after training it and using her roads, as of now she could comfortably use all four of her principles without experiencing any strain whatsoever. This was the true power of the Gravity Children as normal Kukinorite and even those known as Brain Chargers are only capable of experiencing such freedom when they possessed their Infinity Atmosphere. She was glad that she was more suited towards this operation and not the other, first and foremost because she liked being herself and didn't wish to have her personality overwritten. Sure most would see it as an improvement as one is never truly the same as the original overwritten personality due to the circumstances and time-period that they are in being different but really she was not one of those individuals who felt that way. She respected those who went under that operation as they would truly become stronger and it did serve as a way to weed out those who didn't have the mettle to contribute to the clan's development. Either way she was once again training her body, this time she was upside down and preforming push-ups while airborne using Air to give herself an extra boost after launching herself upward with a single hand.

Each time she landed she would switch hands thus working out her entire body as she needed to remain completely straight least she toppled over in the process. The sea actually added additional difficulty seeing as it was never completely still and constantly ebbed and flowed as ocean currents tended to do. It meant with every push up she would have to be wary of her surroundings and adjust her body in mid-air while taking into account that she only had one hand to support her body weight. Eventually it became too easy and thus she would alter how she landed so that she used her thumb causing her to grit her teeth but press forward as it was necessary to push past her former limits. With each subsequent push-up she felt the tension that had been building in her body slowly push past some sort of barrier within her and by the time she had reached one hundred it would break and she would no longer feel the strain from preforming such a task. She felt like she owed it to her bodies unique composition instead of her own personal merit as Gravity Children were more adept at such things in comparison to normal individuals but she also knew that if not for her pushing herself constantly she would have never been able to reach this point.

She would twist the next time she pushed off the air and fall back down to land on her feet and would massage her left hand in order to rub out the kinks that had built up from her conditioning. She was one step closer to fully optimizing her capabilities as a Kukinorite, she felt that she would constantly have to do this but as she had noticed it was getting easier overtime to maintain it. Honestly she didn't even feel like she had to do this exercise every day or even every week but she liked keeping it up as it wasn't any burden to constantly exercise on her off days. It would keep her nice and limber for when she had to hunt down bounties or came into contact with one of the creatures of the pirate world. All in all she felt fulfilled and would endeavor to make this part of her routine so long as she was still by herself, then again maybe she could do light exercise with her crew members if she ever got one, it wouldn't hurt right?

Doing Hardened Bodies 4th Weekly Training (250 Words)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

She had slacked off for a bit, almost feeling that her body was beginning to lose it's conditioning before deciding not to fall into such a trap. As a result she had begun training herself once more, this time she decided to only utilize those techniques belonging to her Road. It was pretty easy seeing as she had some grasp of their concepts she only lacked her Regalia which meant she could not "fly". But it didn't mean she was powerless, it just meant the techniques available to her were limited something she hoped to fix as she continued to hone her skills and abilities to higher levels, as of now she was capable of not only producing Stratus Clouds but also compressing them and using them to strike her targets. She was capable of harnessing the weather around her to bolster her capabilities while likewise channeling the damage she sustained into producing storm like conditions with herself as the epicenter. She now even knew how to best time when she harnessed the storm in order to use it's brute power defensively and what's more now with her conditioning she didn't feel burdened in her trick use in the slightest. It was a bit of a head rush truthfully speaking as with that she felt like her sustainability in combat had increased drastically seeing as initially the majority of her power came from how well she was able to fight in hand to hand combat. Now she would be able to freely incorporate the abilities of her clans into that without suffering from self inflicted damage, also known as recoil, from her own tricks.

Retraining Hardened Bodies (4th) = Req. 250 Words

It had seemingly been a while, as if she hadn't been training regularly in a while but the reality of the situation was not that in fact, no she had been too busy doing other things instead of devoting her time and effort to building her body. Something that had almost been her downfall as she would of had to refine her skills once more so that her Road wouldn't destroy her from the inside out. Thus she was once again training, preforming her tricks while on The Monsoon, and diving into the water for more resistance training as it felt something like training under high gravity. She was lucky really as many didn't get the opportunity to know how that felt but being a Kukinorite it was important for them to know how to fight regardless of the state of the world. Sure they were their best when operating in Low Gravity so much that it actively affected how they fought and turned even the weakest among-st them into powerhouses as their Tricks were no longer a double edged sword but they were no strangers to other conditions. She personally preferred fighting in stormy weather something that she had been fond of even before she rode the Hurricane Road, no she had been a storm chaser even as a little girl. Now that she was in the Pirate World where Storms were always common, it was a blessing that she wasn't afraid of a little bad weather. A blessing indeed.

Retraining Hardened Bodies (4th) = Req. 250 Words (Because I missed a week it goes down from 5th to 4th)

--------------------------------------

She had been drifting for quite sometime, was she lost or was it just that some higher power hadn't yet determine the island for which she was headed to. So caught up in this catch twenty two situation she had actually forgotten to continue her conditioning at least until she felt her body becoming lax and out of shape. Thus she was forced to once again up her training, it wouldn't do for her to weaken herself even if she was travelling around without a goal she needed to have enough discipline to always remember to stay in shape. After all her lively-hood depended on one thing and one thing alone, namely her ability to successfully fight other individuals and bring them in to collect their bounties. It was even more important for her after all she typically fought using non-lethal methods and as a result she needed to be at the top of her game so that when fighting those who wished to kill her she could still beat them without losing her life due to holding back. So she practiced, after all if she wanted to truly succeed at her goal of making a name for herself in the Pirate World rival that of her clan head's acclaim in the Shinobi World she needed to be much stronger. Every time she trained her body she was giving herself a solid foundation which would serve as the basis for her strength to build upon and like any mason knows if you have a weak foundation whatever you built will eventually come crashing down.

Retraining Typhoon Turn 3 Times
Spoiler:

---------------------------------------------------------

In addition to her travels and constitution training Calypso was working on the lone bounty hunter skill she had managed to obtain namely the one that was taught to her by her rescuer after she accompanied him to a Bounty Office in order to make the conversion. She remembered everything about that day, how she had been rescued in the nick of time as she was about to give up and become one of the rest of those broken girls on that ship. At first she didn't know what had happened but when he took her away from the sinking ship and was about to walk away to go about his business she snapped out of it and weakly followed him. He had initially tried to discourage her and almost lost her a couple of times but she managed to eventually track him down and he asked what she wanted since she obviously did by following him around. She mentioned that she wanted to become a Bounty Hunter and he scoffed before kicking her into a tree and saying that Bounty Hunter's can't afford to be weak little girls like her.

That was when one of the fruits fell into her lap and it was oddly colored with lines on it which denoted it as something unnatural, she remembered managing to get up and hold it to her mouth while glaring at him with tears in her eyes before asking that if she ate the fruit would she still be considered a weak little girl? He had initially told her to stop mainly because he recognized the Fruit and when she opened her mouth he decided to tell her that it was one of the rarer ones a Logia and while yes she could eat the Devil Fruit herself but if she didn't it could be a good bartering tool to become a Bounty Hunter as the delivery of one of such fruits with a licensed person like himself could allow her to learn something good. She didn't know much about Devil Fruits, even though she had lived in the Sky sea Devil Fruit users were still uncommon where she lived mainly due to most individuals compensating with the access to Dials and thus didn't want to give up their ability to swim in exchange for what they considered to be cursed power.

Still to a girl like her learning something good was enough and after she sold the Devil Fruit to an Epsilon representative he decided to teach her the iconic technique Typhoon Turn. From there she practiced it herself diligently as like he had told her, the Turns weren't merely speed based movement but likewise independent of speed tiers which is why they were so taxing on the body. With them one wasn't simply moving but instead forcing certain muscle groups to contract and expand rapidly while burning up stamina rapidly in order to generate high speeds. It was something that those within Epsilon used, the Republic's personal protectors though that was something only those high up the Bounty Hunter totem pole knew. Seeing as she was determined to become the best she wasn't going to let any of those individual's beat her when it came to mastering her use of Typhoon Turn, no she would make it her own in a way that no one else could. However before she could do that she would first have to master it and right now she had barely learned how to utilize Triple Typhoon not to talk of Transcendent which only masters could use. Still she was happy with what she had learned how to effectively utilize so far, as Triple Typhoon granted her enhanced speed alongside a longer distance she could travel. She knew that Quadruple Typhoon would be similar to Double, while Quintuple would be similar to Triple that was the feeling she got either way. It made sense because Tr ascendant was supposed to be the perfected version of Typhoon Turn and at it's most basic it granted enhanced speed.

Retraining Hardened Bodies (4th) = Req. 250 Words (Because I missed a week it goes down from 5th to 4th)

--------------------------------------

She had managed to get another crew member and with that she had turned her slow sink into depression by virtue of loneliness around, now she had someone to not only talk to and bond with but likewise protect. After all her ambition would lead her beyond what most would consider the average life of a Bounty Hunter, no she wanted to be worshiped like a Deity and while she was taking steps to do just that she realized that she couldn't reach her goal alone. But that didn't mean she was just going to pick up strays everywhere she went, no she decided to set a limit for herself just like she put limits on her body while within the Northern Half of this sea. She would only obtain up to 2 crew members in each of the oceans. By doing this she made joining her crew far more selective as she prioritized feeling as if they were a right fit for her crew rather than them merely being powerful. She wanted diversity as well, since as a Bounty Hunter she would only have herself and a couple of crew members alongside her when she eventually decided to go after more threatening targets. Still, her musings were caught short as she found her strength waning, and she would swim back to the surface having been training her body underwater yet again. For some reason she found herself locked at a specific level of training, was it perhaps that she was unable to progress further without harsher conditions, or was it because she had grown complacent in her training method. Hopefully when they reached the Frozen Sea, those waters would give her more of a challenge allowing her to fully train her body to it's peak potential.

Weekly Hardened Bodies Training Topic (250 Words because I missed a Week it goes down from 5th to 4th.)
Retraining Typhoon Turn 2 Times (200 Words Each)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Calypso had found herself wondering whether she could try training two things at once and figured why not, after all it wasn't as if she had to fear the water or anything like that seeing as she wasn't a Devil Fruit user. No instead she would dive into the water however instead of swimming normally and practicing her conditioning that way she would instead attempt to utilize Typhoon Turn under water. Initially it was quite difficult she was only really used to using it in air and as a Kukinorite it was kind of like preforming after learning the taijutsu with training wheels. Not that she'd ever rode a bike as she wasn't the type to buy things she felt she didn't need but she felt hat using Typhoon Turn the way she did was comparable to it. Sure she had also used in in the more standard way on the ground and noticed the learning curve but underwater it was a completely different ball game seeing as water actively tried to hinder motion which wasn't aqua-dynamic. Thus she realized early on that she could only manage one step before being unable to proceed further due to the water messing up her form and the fact that the water combined with the lack of stable ground sent her elsewhere than what she intended. She wouldn't just practice mindlessly but instead it was important to be able to use the technique with actual direction thus she would do it over and over until she improved the accuracy of her movement taking breaks after she fully tuckered herself out in order to regain the stamina needed to continue.

It wasn't solved in a couple of hours but actually took two days to be accurate, but the end result was that she was able to move with Typhoon Turn underwater as accurately as she was out of it, which was important to her. Now that it was settled she had noticed that the added difficulty of what she was doing was improving her conditioning at the same time her body seemed to progress better in conditions of strain and having to not only push her limits but do so constantly had clearly shown it's dividends. But she wasn't done yet, she needed to push past only being able to preform Typhoon Turn into being able to utilize Double Typhoon Turn and Triple Typhoon Turn and maybe even Quadruple Accel as it was the one she had recently mastered and thus would undoubtedly be the most difficult to preform underwater. Initially she was correct, initially she didn't grasp how to do so and thus would suffer from an increased stamina drain with each step, however with each failure she gleaned a little bit more of success. Adjustments were made to her body's movements in order to make it easier to transition from one Typhoon Turn to another and she found that once she had gotten over that hurdle preforming Double Typhoon Turn was actually easy as she was able to utilize the moving current from her first step to bolster the second one. From there proceeding through Triple Typhoon Turn and Quadruple Typhoon Turn was child's play as they merely involved more steps but since she knew how to transition between them due to the knowledge earned from preforming Double Typhoon Turn other than the additionally expended stamina she was fine. It was that success that pushed her to try and proceed further through her Typhoon Turn utilization as she had learned new things about the technique which made her think that the originator of it had really put a lot of forethought into it. After all she had knowledge that the movement technique had originated in Epsilon which even now had still been pushing the boundaries of technology and advancement throughout the years, suffice to say she personally thought that without them pioneering more efficient ship based travel the Pirate World as it was wouldn't exist.

Weekly Hardened Bodies Training Topic (1k Words cuz I missed 4 Weeks so it went down from 5th to 1st)
---------------------------------------

Calypso thought to herself truly what did it mean to be a Kukinorite, was it the use of air treks or riding ones road after forming various principles that one adhered to? Was it learning how to Run, and progressing through that to various other methods of movement taught by the clan and beaten into ones body in order to be able to preform them without thinking about it? Perhaps it was obtaining a Sub-Regalia and working with it in order to obtain a regalia allowing a Rider to transcend that to become a King or Queen of their particular road and with that gain access to Infinity Atmosphere. Then again was that for every rider as the Brain Chargers were something else, they didn't need to constantly train their body in order to adapt to the conditions necessary to utilize their tricks without harming themselves and they were more intelligent that a Gravity Child such as herself. Then again they had their flaws their bodies were weak and while they were able to fly they lacked the benefits that a Regalia granted to them, after all Infinity Atmosphere was in fact powerful but it was lacking that extra strength that only a Regalia could give. Still she herself hadn't obtained her Regalia, it was something that she needed to get stronger for, as once she was able to claim one she knew she would become much more synced with her road and thus be able to bring out it's more powerful abilities. Till then she was stuck doing these exercises as boring as they were then again it was her fault that she didn't keep it up regularly otherwise it would take far lest work to keep herself in shape.

Thus she decided that from now on she would no longer slack off as even if it sucked she would try her best to get a training in every week rather than wait until the absolute last minute like she had been doing since she wasn't required to exercise every week. Sure she was in the prime of her life but it meant nothing if she wasted it's benefits by being lazy and slacking off constantly especially with something which affected her combat ability. It was extremely self destructive of her to not be in tip-top shape what with the threats which loomed over her, sure she was in the weakest sea but for some reason it seemed like she was getting stronger opponents than what would appear normally. Maybe it was just the Devil's luck but because of that she needed to be stronger and a minor thing such as being unable to harness what she had been forced to utilize in almost every fight was not an option. Much less the other techniques of hers which would cause her own body damage if she didn't maintain her levels of fitness would only bite her in the ass in the long run. Sure she realized that Garm would probably think she was something of a weirdo with how she constantly end up jumping overboard and trying to skate underwater but it didn't matter her crew member would eventually get used to it.

Still speaking of crew members she felt that she would eventually need to get more, maybe not in this sea as the northern abyssal ocean wasn't exactly known for it's powerful Pirates but she honestly would like to have a crew member from each of the seas in the world. It would give her crew diversity that she felt was lacking in smaller crews seeing as she never wanted her crew to balloon out of portion. It was her firm belief that a small crew filled with elites would always triumph over a larger crew of fodder and average individuals. She did know that there were certain crews that had not only fodder, or average pirates but also elites and super elites but she felt that meant that her crew had to be the best of the best in what they did to compete. It was why she felt that after she gathered a sufficient amount of crew members that they would have to journey to her homeland so that they all could get an additional edge against the other individuals in the world. With the combination of Kukinorite & Epsilon technology she hoped that it would be just enough to make up for their lack of numbers especially if they already had the skill needed to make having top-notch gear a multiplier of their base strength. She already had some idea in regards to what Garm could potentially benefit from especially in regards to channeling the blazes generated from her fighting style. The Medic was a fighter that was for sure and even though she knew how to put people together it was in Calypso's opinion that when it came to battle she could actually count on Garm to hold her own. Those were the sort of crew members that she was looking for not the types that she would have to babysit because their crew would never be big enough to allow such things to occur.

Calypso figured she would have a maximum of fourteen Crew members, however she felt that until they got to the Lost Ocean and onward they could make due with just seven meaning she would have to get five more crew members before she returned to her homeland in the Sky Sea at minimum. But such a thing was fine in her book after all it meant in order to reach her goal she would have to get crew crew members from the Frozen Sea, the West Sea, the Southern Abyssal Ocean & the Northern Abyssal Ocean. Whether or not that meant the last seven would come from the remaining oceans such as the Sky Sea, the Rift Sea, and both sides of the Lost Ocean then that would be ideal. She likewise wanted a more diverse pool of individuals so as to cover all the bases as she knew Pirate crews would be more diverse than any ragtag group of Bounty Hunters. Still she felt she was doing quite well for herself after all she herself was a Rigger which was an unconventional position and her first crew member was a Doctor and both of them could fight.

Weekly Hardened Bodies Training (2nd so 750 Words Req.)
Retraining Base Contract: Goddess of Storms (1 Level)
------------------------------------------

Truthfully speaking Calypso was training yet again yet thinking about something else as thoughts of what she truly wanted in this world lingered within her mind. She had the drive to stand out from the rest of her clan even though they had migrated to the Pirate World she knew that she couldn't remain in the Sky Sea isolated from the world below like their Clan Head had intended for them. Sure the sky was wonderful but if she wanted to make her mark on the world she had to do it below at sea and gradually influence the people on various islands to see that she was worthy of their attention. As it was now she was weak, far too weak to be worthy of the dream she desperately wanted but one day with the right individuals backing her she could be worshiped by people. As a little girl she had been fascinated with storms more so than the average Kukinorite seeing as they all did enjoy the benefits a Storm gave to them just like they did in regards to gravity. No she enjoyed them so much that it became the very basis of her road and when she was younger she often snuck away during thunderstorms just to sit in the middle of an open field and watch the sky even as rain and lightning fell from above.

It was why she felt she got the best training for her body in the harshest weather conditions such was the thunderstorm she was currently experiencing, sure her crew-member Gurm didn't appreciate them as much as she did but what could be done. When she eventually managed to get Girm her own customized waver maybe hers could have a roof and be warm but as for Calypso she was perfectly at home in this type of weather. She wouldn't get carried away to the point of saying she was fearless of what bad weather could wrought on her body but she knew when it came to Storms she had nothing to fear. Not since the first time she had gotten on top of a tower and was struck by an errant bolt of lightning only to giggle and tell her frightened parents that it tickled. Sure it didn't stop her from being shocked during sparring with a Rising Road rider but she learned at an early age that as long as it came from a storm she had nothing to fear. It made sparring with a childhood friend who she'd forgotten his name of rather frustrating on his side of things at least when it came for him to utilize his clans Storm related techniques. The last she heard from him he had went off to join the Privateers and seeing as she was a Bounty Hunter she looked forward to seeing him again, though he always got so upset when she forgot his name so this time she would make sure to pretend as if she remembered it for sure.  The other times she had called him other things like Arashi, yo, kid and a host of other random names to try and distract him from the fact that she wasn't all that good with attaching faces to their given names.

Still, she fortunately was stuck with just Germ on the Monsoon so son enough she'd be able to give her fiery crew member a nick-name which might just stick for a couple of months at the very least. Thankfully it seemed like the girl didn't get all that angry when she called her the wrong thing, honestly Calypso was thinking about just naming her first mate and being done with it. That way she didn't have to remember her name and could just go "1st Mate!" whenever she needed to reference her though she was sure that too would get old quickly. It was funny how she did sometimes remember the girls name usually after she had just been told it again and other times it actually lingered in her head for sometime and then other times poof it was gone with no recollection of it at all. Either way it was time to resurface before she ended up thinking too much and risking drowning besides her body was getting sore which meant she was done conditioning for the day. She would make her way back upward eventually breaking the surface of the water and proceed to swim back to The Monsoon which was drifting lazily in the water. She would quickly reach it and proceed to pull herself onto it shaking her body out just enough to create a Stratus cloud which she could use to towel herself off and then spied her crew member fast asleep in the space that Calypso had built with the intent of sleeping in. She didn't mind though she was tired sure but she could sleep on the portion with the Jet Dials and position herself comfortably without needing to move seeing as she wasn't that big.

Matter of fact, that was exactly what she was going to do.

Weekly Hardened Bodies Training (3rd so 500 Words Req.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was that time yet again and she was swimming behind The Monsoon for what seemed like the twentieth time though she knew it wasn't that much as she had been slacking in her conditioning. Well not anymore now she knew the problems that came with not working out every week in order to keep her body in tip top shape as her Trick would wreck havoc on her muscles otherwise. She was fortunate that she wasn't a brain charger to be completely honest or even a normal Kukinorite as she heard that they were unable to ever get used to their Tricks no matter how they trained and conditioned their bodies it always remained an obstacle for them. As such Infinity Atmosphere was more of a crutch for them than any other Kukinorite and she was glad she and her fellow Gravity Children didn't share such a weakness.

Thinking about it, most individuals thought due to the Brain Charger's increased intelligence they were the most superior Kukinorite but they did not understand the subtle dynamics of the clan which kept the two in a balance albeit both being below those who had earned the right to be called King or Queen. This was because no matter what every Kukinorite had the potential to master their Road and only then could they have a seat on the Council and contribute to the politics of the clan as a whole, of course while the bulk of the clan fought over the Starter Roads and their positions those who were Brain Chargers or Gravity Children had the opportunity to create their own Roads and thus come into their reign to create new seats on the Council. It was only that which separated them from the rest and the differences between the two is what kept them in balance. Gravity Children like herself had the bodies necessary to use their Road's in general combat without relying on the true power of their Road however they required the much coveted Regalia to gain their Infinity Atmosphere. On the flip side Brain Chargers were more intelligent and could utilize Infinity Atmosphere even without a Regalia, however their bodies were just as unsuited to the Roads as the average Kukinorite.

As such while Brain Chargers could be extremely powerful in regards to short conflicts it was the Gravity Children who were best for drawn out fights and once they gained Regalia it evened out the power gap with the Brain Charger's only edge being the general complexity of their chosen roads versus the average Gravity Child. Hence her who had been obsessed with Storms as a girl naturally wanted to be able to harness the energy of storms at anytime she wished so there was really only one choice for her. Besides she liked her memories and personality as Brain Chargers had whoever they were erased as the consciousness of a preceding King or Queen was uploaded into their brain. As such Brain Chargers as a whole were not the ideal choice for those who had been born within the clan but for those who were adopted into it, it was a surefire way to gain the Clan's trust and loyalty.

Weekly Hardened Bodies Training (3rd so 250 Words Req.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Calypso felt invigorated especially after the fight they had survived, it was her first encounter with the Buccaneers since her freedom and she had managed to kill all but one of them while burning their salvaged ship to the ground with the aid of Garm. Sure they were small fries as they were stragglers from the true Buccaneers who were the epitome of brutality and malice but she was content with the fact that they were stepping stones towards true enemies. While she wouldn't seek them out as a Bounty Hunter it was her duty to make sure to wipe them all out except for the seven traitors to the Republic something which she would gladly do. Still she felt like she needed to keep up her conditioning in case she ran into them yet again after all, the whole encounter had been at random and if she hadn't an extra helping hand then it could of been far more difficult to pull a win. Instead she was able to play off of Garm and gained more insight into how her ally fought as it was interesting to see how she blended her flames with her medical knowledge. She could see that when her crew member became more powerful that she would easily be a fearful combatant to fight against and she was honestly thinking of ways that they could work on their teamwork in case they came across opponents they couldn't fight alone. Still now wasn't the time to dwell on recent events especially since she had decided to swim behind the Monsoon without a tether this time, and in her day dreams she'd fallen behind...
