As he head inward towards the light, he would find himself eventually getting towards the center of the island which was filled with bio-luminescent vines all bundled up against a massive tree in the center of the island. As a result it was fairly bright and he would know that this was his destination and could now freely search among the island in search of a gem that would suit him. Once he found one, he was presented with the option of either obtaining another, or venturing towards Royal Island where his sister awaited him having completed her own journey before him and his other brother.

Azazel found the tree and was awestruck. It was truly something of beauty, generating enough light to illuminate everything around it and fend off the darkness. It took his breath away. After taking a moment to admire the scenery, he felt the tug of the Force once more. He moved to the root of the tree and began searching within the vines for what had called out for him so greatly, knowing it could only be another gem he was meant to find.

Lo and behold, he would find a single gem which glittered in the unique lighting, it was a unique rainbow of colors which gave it striking features in comparison to the Onyx that he had picked up. Sort of like an opposite, as where his Onyx had no color, this one seemed like it possessed them all, an Ametrine. With that, he could either move on or continue searching once more either way, the force would no longer guide him on this island meaning he would have to use his own power to obtain the next gem he needed all the while ignoring the draw he had to get on the boat and head to Royal Island.

Azazel would grab the glittering rainbow gem with a small smile on his face, watching the bright light from around him play off of it. He placed it in his pocket alongside the Onyx and took one last look around him. He would love to return to this island for meditation, if he could. He turned to return to his boat before getting in, following the pull of the Force to the final island he was capable of reaching: Royal Island.

As the second to arrive at the island he would see his sister in her meditative pose most likely deeply entrenched within the Force and thus waking her would be futile at the moment, instead he could see each of the pedestals and the instructions would be given to him via The Force. While he didn't get as diverse a selection as she did, he still had options especially considering he still lacked the Ruby and Sapphire required to even make his Plasma Saber. Luckily for him there were two Rubies and three Sapphires left for him to pick from...assuming he had the Midichlorians to pay for them. Which he did assuming he didn't try and bite off more than he could chew...once again.

Azazel left his boat and gave his sister a cursory glance as she was working to replenish her Midi-chlorians. The Meditation was deep, he knew, so he simply walked past her and looked at the two Rubies and three Sapphires left before him. He looked with his eyes and felt out with the Force in order to see which gems would call to him. His eyes fell on the red-violet Ruby first, so he stepped forward towards the pedestal and felt the Midi-chlorians leave his body before releasing the stone with a soft click. He took a step back and felt that only a small fragment of his Midi-chlorians had been taken, he still had plenty to use. He looked to the Sapphires next, reaching out for the slate-blue one and pulling it free like he had the Ruby. He took a step back and nodded in satisfaction, looking around him as he tried to decide what to do next.

Upon freeing the two gems, Azazel would realize that these were quite special, unlike the other type of Rubies or Sapphires these shared traits with other gems, something that he would realize as The Force supplied him with such information. Now he had yet another choice to make, would he continue leaving his sister behind in her meditation as he proceeded into the temple to begin the creation of his Saber, or would he join her in meditation in order to replenish his midi-chlorians and wait for his oldest sibling to finally arrive on Royal Island.

PostSubject: Chromatica Branching Mission - Lake Je'daii (Azrael's Path)   10th June 2017, 1:41 am

Azrael would let out a sigh of relief as he stepped onto his boat in order to proceed with the task of creating their first lightsabers of the chromatica clan, something he had been excited about for a long time. However due to his slacking he had fallen behind in his force training in order to optimize his seal work as he felt that would have been essential to making his gear the best, so he would honestly be relying on pure luck for this portion to get to the islands. He would wave off to his siblings as his vessel started to drift at sea, not really regretting his choices about training in the past as he was sure at one point in the future he would be able to show exactly what he was capable of. He was certain his siblings would make it through this task without much problems as they were skilled fighters in their own way, along with being competent force users. All he had to do was find some decent gems and metals and alter them to what he needed them to be to show what the fruits of his training were. So after about an hour or so of aimless sailing while laying on the ship, Azrael would feel the shifting of the boat signalling that he was getting closer to one of the islands he was supposed to get to. Odd as it seemed, he found being on the sea rather comforting, perhaps if the corporate sector doesn’t work out for him he could get into privateering.

While he was late it would seem that he was quite lucky or unlucky depending on how one saw it, seeing as the island that he would arrive one was completely devoid of life, just sand and even The Force was fairly lacking. At least that would be it at first glance, it wasn't as if The Force was scarce on this island but rather that it was tightly controlled not able to spread freely but almost inanimate instead of the free-spirited force talked about by members of the clan. Still this restriction would allow Azrael the clarity to search for gems along this sandy island which was known as the Void. Of course he could instead choose to search the cave which was strikingly distinct from the rest of the island seeing as it was the only thing on the island that wasn't well...sand.

So after seeing the initial island, Azrael was kind of underwhelmed with what could be found on the beach, felt like he should have came to this island with a metal detector like those weirdo's on the coast. After doing a quick scan of the area, he would see a patch of the island that wasn't completely covered in sand and would make his way towards that place, hoping to find something worthwhile there. However as he floated along the sand his mind would wonder onto the style of lightsaber he would be making, maybe a duel sided saber, or a curved grip hilt. The possibilities were endless in his mind, but one thing that he never really thought of would continue to elude him for the time being as he floated towards the caves at the center of the island. Once there he would look around the entrance to see if he could get a basic idea of what to expect.

Ariel slipped from the meditation with a slow exhale, her body restored with midichlorians. Opening her eyes she saw her combat oriented brother in front of her and claiming one of the other different sapphires for himself. With another slow exhale she stood back up, "Heya big brother," Fresh from a deep meditation was the only time she was ever dozy, even when she had just woken up in the morning she never was. Looking over her noticed there was another ruby missing too, "Oh! Is everybody here?!" She asked excited for all three to be on the island, but noticing the extra ruby in his hand too she began to pout. "Guess not," She would step up towards the Topaz pedestal and place her hand to it. She figured if the Force would allow her, there was no harm, and as it released and dropped in to her hand, she took the total four gems with a smile. "So what'd you get on the other islands?" She would ask as she jumped on to his back in a hug again. "Carry me a minute? I like the warmth and gotta meditate," She would nestle her head in to his back as she began her replenishing all over again.

As he got into the cave he would notice how damp it was, which was different from the desert which was just outside of it, in fact if he peered inside he would see that it led to an underwater lake which seemed to glitter, most likely due to gems underneath the water surface. Now he had a choice, whether to search for gems along the walls or dive into the water and search for gems at to bottom of this underground lake, within a lake island. Either way, he had gotten to the farthest part of the island where the rarest gems were most likely located, all he had to do now was find them.

Azazel gave a surprised gasp as his sister jumped on his back, not really expecting it. He grumbled and moved onwards towards the temple, carrying her along with him. She really was a bother...He entered the temple and set her down on the floor, laying on her side as she meditated. Azazel himself turned and continued moving forwards, ready to begin forging his Plasma Saber with the gems he had collected on the islands.

Brother and sister would venture forward all the while leaving their oldest sibling to his whims not bothering to wait for him, it was prophetic if anything as The Force knew that these two would move on to refine their use of it for combat purposes whereas he would utilize it for innovation and creation. However it did not favor any of them as it understood their differences seeing as both its Light and Dark Sides were opposites which constantly clashed against each other while it's Void Side lurked removed from the conflict and free to do as it wished unknown to many who claimed mastery of The Force. Once they got to the temple they would see that three more pedestals were placed each before a door and they would gain the knowledge that they would need to place their hands on the door in order to open their special cavern where they would be able to create their Plasma Sabers completely isolated from the others. Their only companions being the gems they had collected and The Force, which would influence them as they created what would be their lifelong companion something entwined with them as their siblings. Still this might also have been planned by The Force, the oldest sibling making the youngest Saber while the youngest Sibling created the oldest, one thing was certain the middle child would always be just that...

Ariel would awaken fully refreshed only a few moments of being left by Azazel. Stretching off again she hurried over to meet him again. "So this is it huh?" She muttered to him. She felt herself actually shaking a little with nerves. Reaching out she would grab at her brothers hand. "Just let me have this a moment," she shot at him before he could pull away. Taking another few deep breaths she let go again and went to the door the Force guided her to. Placing her hands to them she gave a grunt as she pushed it open. "Good luck big brother," she gave him one last look and sweet smile before she was inside the chamber.

Azazel nodded to her as she took his hand, giving it a slight squeeze. She would've had to have been paying attention in order to tell he had done it, because it was a very quick and slight application of pressure. He schooled his features into a look of mild annoyance to cover the fact that he needed a bit of reassurance too. When she began entering through her door, Azazel spoke quietly "Same to you, little sister..." He then walked to the door the Force drew him towards, the middle one. He brushed his hand across the top of the middle pedestal as he walked by, before reaching both his hands out to push the door open into his future, the key to the greatest powers their clan had to offer.

The two of them would head to their respective doors and both would seal up after them. Inside the room they would find a platform for them to sit in, which would change it from its dirt brown color into a pure white in Ariel's case and a pitch black in Azazel's.. Upon becoming seated they would find parts for plasna sabers scattered around them and would enter a trance where they would first place the crystals around their body and proceed to construct their Plasna Saber using only The Force.

Ariel squeaked once the door shut tight behind her, leaving her in utter silence. As much as she might like her meditations, it was never easy being in complete silence when not meditating. With a deep breath she strode forwards, putting on as brave a face as she could, and sat herself right in the centre of the coloured spot on the ground, unaware that it was different to her brothers. Shrugging her shoulders she would set down the three crystals that would create her saber. She had four, and yet the Force was telling her that three, and only three, were required, whilst her hands were guided to push forwards the special ruby and regular sapphire. She felt that the topaz would be nice to have in the blade, but the Force, it guided her to the Amethyst as it lifted up along with the other gems. With her hands nestled in to her lap, she felt the whole room just buzz with life, pure life, pure serenity, pure Light. She had never felt the Force so focused. Normally in her meditations she felt the Force, but never her surroundings in so much detail. She felt she was giving the Force power, whilst it built the saber for her. She truly didn't know for sure which was working who, it didn't matter. Her saber was being made by her.

Azrael would stand in awe of the underground lake and how it seemed to shine in the darkness, this would definitely become a place he would be back to visit. Not to take all the gems, but a place where he could probably find some peace in the future. He was nearly tempted to dive right into the water, but knew that just jumping in right now mid flight would do more damage to him than good considering he was a flying lightning rod at the moment. So he would touch down on the edge of the lake to reduce his electrical charge flowing from his body, his knees almost giving out on him as he rarely ever walked on the ground, and would begin removing his clothes until he was in only his boxers. "No need getting all my clothes wet." He would say leaving his clothes scattered on the ground before stepping into the water with his staff in hand, and once he was deep enough in the lake he would dive down as far as he could to get ccloser to the gems causing the lake to glow.

Azazel didn't make a sound as the door closed behind him, he just looked at the spot on the floor as the light turned it pitch black. He moved to his spot and sat down, pulling the gems from his pocket and laying them before him. His heart was hammering in his chest from the excitement, but he needed to calm down. His eyes closed and he felt his breathing slow, letting a calm wash over him as he began to meditate. His mind left his body, spiraling into the room around him and melding with the Force. He felt the Force around him as he never had before, feeling the raw emotion within it. The all the anger, disgust, fear, sadness, love, surprise and joy to be had. He felt in tune with all of it, everything that "tainted" the power of the Force, everything that the Jedi taught one to block out. He was drawing power from it, he was drawing power from the Dark. The components needed to form his Plasma Saber were lifted from the ground, with only the Ametrine staying in it's place. The Force told him that only three gems could be placed in his new weapon, so one of those he had needed to be sacrificed. The parts swirled over his head, dancing to the tune of the Dark Side, feeling the raw and corrupting power it could offer. Azazel wasn't himself, he was one with the Force in this moment, the two working in tandem to build his ultimate weapon.

He would reach down and manage to discover a tiny gem and it would seem that each of the siblings were going to discover a gem that was out of norm. In his case the pale green peridot would glint in the water and he could feel the emptiness of the Void side within it. If he did decide to head back he would make it back to his boat with no problem however if he chose to keep looking there was in fact more for him to discover. Yet this time that absence of The Force was now lacking meaning he would have to rely solely on his own talents if he wished to obtain it.

While underwater, Azrael would pick up the tiny gem that looked rather magnificent if you asked him, and the feeling he got from it was almost mesmerizing. A grin would cross his face as he broke the water's surface, and would make his way back to the boat with his clothes under one arm, and his eyes studying the gem he found. "If you treat me right, might have to come back for for your siblings" he would say as he made it back to the boat, and would push it off the beach before starting to sail to his next island.

This time he would head to yet another island, though this one different from the rest due to the sunlight illuminating it and the wildlife that could be heard within it appearance, truthfully it was enrapturing both in it's beauty as well as how potent The Force's influence was on this island. As such when he stepped onto it, he would learn of it's name, Light and the various sounds of the creatures inhabiting it would disappear. It was obvious that he would feel uncomfortable after all the Force's influence was firmly in the Light side and due to not transcribing to such doctrine he would have a choice, did he simply look for a gem on the outskirts and go back into the boat to head towards his siblings on the final island or did he venture inward despite the unsettling feeling surrounding him.

To say that Azrael was unsettled by the island would be an understatement for the boy, when first arriving to the island he was almost contemplating just not going onto it at all. It really wasn't the way the island looked, far from it as it was a visual wonder. No, it was a feeling that wasn't really a "Bad" in a sense, but one that just too much for him to take. With all this the eldest of the chromatica triplets, not wanting to be left behind by his siblings, would just have to suffer through this feeling for the brief time he would be spending on this island. Azrael would step out of the boat, making sure not to actually touch the ground in hopes to lessen this feelings that was coming down on him, he would decide just to check the outskirts of the island for his second gem.

As he looked around he would discover a Ruby, and with that the number of gems in his possession would increase to two, likewise he would feel the force lessen in intensity but it was still present and thus he would no longer need to stay on the island having found what he needed to proceed onward. This time with the new gem he would head towards an island that he knew without a sudden realization unlike this one. He would head to the Royal Island, and upon disembarking would see the remaining pedestals of which there remained the normal Ruby, the normal Sapphire, the yellow Sapphire, and the remaining other gems. Which hadn't been claimed by his siblings.

-----------------------------------------

As for his siblings, Ariel would find herself quickly shaping her saber transforming it from mere scrap metal and gems into a functional Plasma Saber of her own make, whereas Azazel while still in his force trance would not see his Ruby and Sapphire gems actually grow before splitting in half leaving him with two sets of them. This would likewise be created into two plasma sabers rather than a single one yet both shared the same core, while his sister had no interesting effects to her own gems. She actually seemed to take the path of a single saber typically standard with no modifications whatsoever like one of those within the clan who were not all that skilled at force manipulation and merely needed a Saber to continue forward. Then again there were those who thought that the most powerful type of Saber was the simplest one, seeing as instead of trying to learn it's nuances they could focus on perfecting their Forms. He on the other hand would have to make a choice once more, while his creation was in fact more expensive it also limited his options in someways. The common problem that all Dual Wielders faced was that their individual sabers were not as complex in regards to their gems than their counterparts who had a single saber. Rather each blade was similar yet different while some were more favored in comparison to the other like those who had started out with another saber type then decided to dual wield. Back to the choice that he had to make it was quite simple, which of the Sabers that he was creating would have the extra gem, since he could only socket one at this time, the other blade would not have the same effect as the one with three gems, so long as they were not interlocked. It wasn't too difficult a choice as even without the additional gem the other saber still had the benefit from the unique starter gems that he had chosen.
